    Nature nurtures the soul's sensitivity, humanity animates nature… The soprano RACHEL HARNISCH and pianist JAN PHILIP SCHULZE present the audience with a program that navigates between earthly desires and heavenly sounds, traversing a narrative and sonic universe from the beginnings of art song with Franz Schubert, through the late Romanticism of Gustav Mahler and Richard Strauss, to the present day (George Crumb).
