    The recital with KATHRIN HOTTIGER and EDWARD RUSHTON showcases the unknown and therefore all the more worth hearing diversity of Swiss Art Song from the Romantic era to the dawn of the modern age. Featuring works by Paul Hindemith set to poems in Swiss dialect by Adolf Frey and Hans Reinhart, May Zehnder (Five Songs after Stefan George), Theodor Fröhlich, Ernest Bloch, and Emil Frey, as well as musical settings of Gottfried Keller by Hans Pfitzner and Heinrich von Herzogenberg.
