The SUMMER CONCERT #SWISSNESS 2023 showcases works for string quartet and soprano between folk tunes and art songs by swiss composers, including well-known Swiss folk songs such as "Guggisberg Lied" or "Là-haut sur la montagne," which are also found in the contemporary composition "Swiss Postcards" by Thüring Bräm, as well as compositions by Emile Jaques-Dalcroze, Albert Moeschinger, and other folk song arrangements.
For the first time, the RHONEFESTIVAL invites audience members passionate about singing to gather for a rehearsal of the three folk songs that will be sung together during the concert at 7 p.m..
