As a festival preview open-air concerts on the banks of the river Rhone in Mühlebach, Niedergampel, and Brig, featuring the singers JULIE CATHERINE EGGLI, LOREDANA CATALANO, and FRANZISKA HEINZEN, accompanied by pianist BENJAMIN MEAD. Amidst nature, folk songs and folk song arrangements showcase the origins of the classical Lied.
