  • “Nightly I see you in my dreams
And I see you greet me, friendly,
And crying out loudly, I throw myself
    At your sweet feet.”

Rich in tradition yet infused with youthful vocal artistry, the RHONEFESTIVAL opens in a highly romantic vein with Swiss baritone ÄNEAS HUMM and internationally renowned song interpreter HARTMUT HÖLL. Schumann's Dichterliebe celebrates the month of May and the trials of love, followed by pointed poems by Eduard Mörike set to music by Hugo Wolf, and the late romantic, Nordic yearnings of Edvard Grieg.
